Job Description
Location: – Fayetteville NC
As part of the Cloud Enterprise Development team, you’ll help drive digital transformation by contributing to our growing Cloud initiative. In the Cloud Engineer role, you will couple your experience in AWS/Azure Cloud, DevOps, automation, CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure, development, and monitoring to drive the successful cloud deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications. Experience with more than one of Azure, AWS, GitLab CICD, Jenkins, and Agile is required for this role. You will collaborate with multiple teams on cloud technologies, application development, and DevOps processes. You will be supporting Applications deployed in commercial and GovCloud.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to build, automate and enhance deployment pipelines for enterprise infrastructure and applications.
- Lead efforts to evaluate and implement tools used in the DevOps toolchain.
- Experience in AWS/Azure services.
- Deploy applications in cloud-based Kubernetes clusters and maintain them.
- Support DevOps toolset that drives enterprise deployments.
- Provide technical leadership in the effort to build and maintain enterprise DevOps infrastructure.
- Provide support on Windows and Linux-based applications.
- Apply and update STIG/Patch in Windows and Linux operating systems to meet the security complaints.
- Lead effort to build and deploy solutions in the AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Lead effort to build and maintain relationships with enterprise DevOps teams.
- Lead effort to build and maintain relationships with the DevOps user community.
- Communicate the DevOps vision to the enterprise.
- Provide technical guidance to the DevOps user community.
- Provide mentoring to junior developers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
- About 5 years of IT experience in related fields.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
- 3+ years of Cloud engineering, DevOps, and/or Cloud Development experience.
- Experience with GitLab CICD pipelines or Azure DevOps/AWS Code Pipeline.
- Experience with serverless technologies in cloud environments
- Experience with docker and Kubernetes including rancher.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
Required Qualifications:
- Security+ or equivalent certifications.
- At least Active Secret Clearance to start with.
- U. S. Citizen and/or Green Card holder
