Job Description:
We are looking for a DOD Cleared Mid-Level Network Engineer for our Government client to sit on-site at Fort Liberty in Fayetteville, NC.
Qualified candidates will:
- Â Currently hold an ACTIVE Secret level clearance with the ability to be upgraded to a TS/SCI
- Â Willing to go on-site at Fort Liberty NC
- Â Have 3+ years of professional networking experience.

Required Skills:
- Demonstrable real-world experience in network configuration and management of critical network environments
- Has a clear understanding of the OSI model
- Ability to identify and correct network issues in a complex network environment
- Experience with IPSec, multilayer switching, VLANs, and Virtual environments (ESXi)
- Knowledgeable in Static/Dynamic IP environments, LAN/WAN interfaces, Routed and routing protocols, subnetting, remote management, and monitoring using SNMPv3 and SSH in both large and small-scale networks
- Experience in network devices such as Cisco ASAs, Routers, Switches, Phones, Video teleconferencing (VTCs), Unified Communications Servers
- Experience with Cisco IOS, NX OS, VMware
- Experience with AWS Cloud networking. VPC, subnets, Route table, NACL, Transit Gateway, and Security Groups.
Required Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technically related field and 3 years of hands-on experience
- This position requires a minimum of (5) years of experience in a networking environment
- Knowledgeable in RHEL/CentOS Linux operating systems
- Understanding of Power Distribution Units (PDUs), serial servers, server hardware, and other data center-type equipment
- Hands-on experience with Physical rack installations, troubleshooting, and system integration
- Desire to obtain a CCNA certification or higher
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
